Lauren Graham is thanking her Gilmore Girls fans who helped make the just-announced Netflix revival possible.

The star recorded a message to fans to coincide with being honored with Logo TV’s New Now Next TV Honoree award.

“This is my favorite award I’ve ever gotten because I have done absolutely nothing to deserve it,” she says in the video message, which is exclusive to PEOPLE. “We haven’t even started shooting and I haven’t even seen any of the scripts. So, all I can tell you is it is because of you, the devoted fans that I get to revisit this character and go back to this world. And we are all so excited and so thankful.”

Stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race presented Graham, 48, with the award.

Netflix announced Friday it is bringing back Graham and other original stars Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson and Kelly Bishop for the revival of the WB family dramedy. Other stars set to return include Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena.

The series does not yet have a title or a premiere date, but Graham promised to see her fans “soon” on Netflix.

The New Now Next Honors air Monday at 10 p.m. ET on Logo.
