Lovesick! 'Grey's Anatomy' Actor Giacomo Gianniotti Is Engaged

Grey's Anatomy star Giacomo Gianniotti announced on Instagram that he proposed to his girlfriend Nichole over Thanksgiving weekend — and she accepted

Just call him the love doctor.

Grey’s Anatomy star Giacomo Gianniotti announced on Instagram, Sunday, that he proposed to his girlfriend Nichole over Thanksgiving weekend.

“She said yes,” the 28-year-old captioned a sweet shot of the couple sharing a kiss on a balcony in Los Angeles, California. “I am truly one lucky guy, and I wouldn’t rather be walking down this crazy road of life with anyone else. I love you. Thank you.”

The Italian-Canadian actor, who plays Dr. Andrew DeLuca on the ABC drama, also shared the sweet words in Italian.

Nichole, a makeup artist, posted additional images of the big day to her own account, including a look at her new bling.

“Yesterday my best friend asked me to marry him in the most romantic way, a day reliving our love,” she wrote. “We are thrilled. I wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone else. I love you baby and can’t wait to be your wife 💍 This man has showed me what true love is. What a dream come true, pinch me.”

Nichole also shared a video of a room leading to a balcony covered in red rose petals from the proposal to her Instagram story.

“I’m sweeping up all the rose petals from yesterday,” she said. “It all feels like such a dream come true. My best friend asked me to marry him and we couldn’t be happier.”

Although Gianniotti’s career keeps him and Nichole apart, the loving girlfriend has boasted about her beau’s accomplishments, including his upcoming film Acquainted, on Instagram before.

“Missing my sexy man so much today,” she wrote in July. “Longest we’ve ever been apart 😫 but I support this mans dreams!! He’s in Toronto producing and starring in an amazing film that he’s waited years to get done and now it’s finally happening! I could not be more proud of you baby! He works so hard and puts his heart and soul into anything he does. He is brilliantly talented, wickedly talented. And so are his friends he’s doing this film with.”
