If only each episode of Game of Thrones were longer than an hour.

Alas, not everything can make the final cut – which is why picking up the DVDs can be that much more entertaining.

To wit: The season 4 DVDS come with two deleted scenes from a pair of truly memorable moments.

The first involves Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) and the time he banished his beloved Shae (Sibel Kekilli) from the homestead. He did his best to seem completely uncaring, and his wingman Bronn (Jerome Flynn) picked up the slack by reminding Shae how fickle those dang richies can be.

In the other scene, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) stands in the moonlight while imploring her handmaiden Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) to stay loyal.

Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 12 at 9 p.m. ET.
