The wait is almost over, Tanner family fans.

Fuller House, the highly anticipated spin-off of the classic hit family sitcom Full House, will premiere on Netflix on Friday, Feb. 26.

Netflix also released the touching first teaser for the new series, which will follow Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) helping DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) to raise her three sons. Most of their cast mates from the original series – Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin – will guest star in select episodes of the show. Even DJ’s old love interest, Steve (Scott Weinger) and Jesse and Becky’s twin sons, Nicky and Alex (Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit) will appear.

Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of Michelle in the original series from 1987 95, will not appear in the spin-off. It was a decision that left Stamos, who is also producing the series, “#heartbroken.”

It was also Stamos who announced back in April, after much speculation, that Fuller House was officially going to be a reality and the close-knit cast would be together again on screen.
