Entertainment TV First Look at 'Friends' Reunion on NBC Special Is Here – and It's Amazing! The cast of friends will join others from our favorite sitcoms for a two-hour special honoring creator James Burrows By Naja Rayne Published on February 3, 2016 10:30 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Trending Videos Prepare yourself for The One Where They (Almost) Got Back Together! The first teaser for the James Burrows tribute on NBC is here and it looks like it’s one not to be missed. The cast of Friends – minus Matthew Perry – sits down with Andy Cohen, as the Bravo host asks his usual, juicy questions. “Did you all sign contracts saying that you wouldn’t sleep with each other,” Cohen probes – a question the cast seems unsure how to answer. After an uncomfortable silence, Lisa Kudrow quickly nudges David Schwimmer, jokingly pleading for help answering! Also making an appearance are the stars of all of your favorite past television comedies, including Cheers, Taxi, Fraiser, and Will & Grace. Stars from current sitcoms Mike & Molly and The Big Bang Theory will be in attendance as well. In January, it was announced that a Friends reunion would make its way to NBC this month, after months of fans pushing for a reboot of the iconic television series. “I’m hoping all six will be in the same room at the same time,” NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said when the announcement was made. “I’m not sure we can logistically pull it off.” While it looks like the logistics of having the entire cast together didn’t work out, we’ll settle for five. The two-hour special, slated to air Feb. 21 on NBC, will honor Burrows, who created sitcom and helmed episodes of the other shows that will be featured.
