Florence Henderson left Dancing with the Stars Tuesday on a positive note, telling host Tom Bergeron on her way out, “I hope I’ve inspired people to get off their behinds and move and dance and live and enjoy life.”

But another contestant, who was saddened by her elimination, was singing a different tune.

“I’m trying not to cry,” the week’s leader, Brandy, said, walking up to kiss Henderson on the cheek as the actress was coincidentally speaking to reporters about their bond after the show.

“I’ve had some really deep talks with Brandy, and I think she’s really opened up,” Henderson told PEOPLE. “She’s great and she’s letting her beautiful spirit come out.”

Brandy, 31, who calls Henderson an “inspiration,” says she will “absolutely” stay in touch with the Brady Bunch star, 76.

“I love her spirit and who she is as a woman,” the singer added. “I don’t like that she’s leaving.”

Who does Brandy miss? “I miss The Situation – I miss him a lot,” she told PEOPLE when asked whom she most wishes were still on DWTS. “I miss his presence, his gifts, his charm – it goes on and on. I miss his jokes and stuff.”
