In the wake of Sunday night’s bloodbath on The Walking Dead‘s midseason premiere, the stars of the AMC hit’s spin-off Fear the Walking Dead have some survival tips for their sister series.

In an exclusive featurette for Fear‘s season 1 Blu-ray DVD set, several of the show’s key players share five things they’d need to make it if the world were overrun by walkers, and let’s just their answers run the gamut from practical to … well … interesting.

While lead Cliff Curtis (Travis) is all about creature comforts, saying he’d seek out “positive, uplifting music” and advising fellow potential survivors to “make sure you’ve got clean underwear because that’s what mum would want you to do, right? That’s important just in case you get taken to the hospital.”

On the other hand, Mercedes Mason (Ofelia) is the most aggressively practical with her suggestions of a flamethrower, three balls of yarn, a can of tuna, a machete, and, of course: “Don’t forget MacGyver because otherwise, really? Also, he tells great stories, so you won’t get bored.”

Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Liza) and Rubén Blades (Daniel) all make sure there’s some food and water in the mix. When teamed up with Lorenzo James Henrie (Chris), who’d bring toothpaste, it looks like life could imitate art with these five sticking together during the end of the world.

Though Debnam-Carey has the hail Mary of survival tucked in her back pocket – in addition to a pocket knife (“I could do everything with that!”), she’d enlist Bear Gryllz: “He’d make me survive. I don’t know that I’d be too good at surviving, but he would!”

Fear the Walking Dead: The Complete First Season will be available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD on March 22 from Anchor Bay. Season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead: The Complete First Season premieres April 10 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
