Ex-O.C. Housewife Jo De La Rosa Gets Her Own Reality Dating Show
Former star of The Real Housewives of Orange County Jo De La Rosa is ready to make the move from O.C. Housewife to the L.A. dating scene–and her ex is coming along for the ride.
De La Rosa, who appeared on the first two seasons of Housewives, is getting her own Bravo reality show to chronicle her search for love called Date My Ex: Jo & Slade.
The hitch? Prospective suitors will live under the same roof as De La Rosa’s ex-fianc Slade Smiley, who will help vet which suitors she should keep around.
While De La Rosa admits, “It’s weird having your ex help you out dating,” she and Smiley have remained close since their breakup.
Viewers of the The Real Housewives of Orange Country will remember that De La Rosa was last seen having moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music after ending her engagement to Smiley.
Smiley also moved to L.A.–and works as De La Rosa’s business manager, and now, her relationship manager as well. “No one knows Jo better than me,” Smiley says.
And the same, it seems, holds true for De La Rosa.
The series will premiere July 21 at 10 p.m. EDT, but Bravo will air a special sneak peek episode, Jo and Slade: The Break Up on Monday, June 30, at 10 p.m. EDT. … Emmet Sullivan
