Eva Longoria Dishes on How She'll Spend Her First Valentine's Day After Her Engagement
The couple were engaged in December
“We always have a Valentine’s Day weekend – a couple’s war weekend. So we invite a lot of couple friends of ours and we have this insane competition of like minute-to-win-it games,” she told PEOPLE at the Public Display of Godiva campaign at the Godiva store in Glendale, California. “It’s a fun weekend but it’s definitely a competitive weekend,” she continued.
While Longoria’s invites have surely gone out for her Valentine’s Day couples weekend, she hasn’t even begun to think about invitations for her upcoming nuptials.
“[There’s] no theme or location. No guest list. You know, I guess I keep advocating for eloping,” the actress, 40, said.
The only thing Longoria has decided on is that it if there is a wedding, it won’t be grandiose.
“I think we’re going to do something really, really simple. We’ve both been married before, so there’s not going to be a lot of pomp and circumstance,” Longoria said.
Aside from planning a wedding, Longoria stays busy on her new NBC series Telenovela, which she stars in and produces. She also revealed that she will be guest starring in another show she produces, the season four premiere of Lifetime’s Devious Maids. And who will she be playing?
“I play me. I actually play Eva Longoria – but a much heightened version. I’m kind of the a–hole version of Eva Longoria,” she said with a laugh.
