Erin Andrews Says Maks Smells 'Ridiculously Amazing'

When Erin Andrews got the news she’d be on Dancing with the Stars, she knew she wanted to be paired up with Maksim Chmerkovskiy because of his strong work ethic — after all, he’s made some of his former partners cry! — but she also got an unexpected bonus.

“The dude smells ridiculously amazing!” the ESPN correspondent, 31, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday. “I mean, we could be working out outside for hours and I’ll smell like a guy and he smells like a garden of lilies. I’m like, are you serious? I’ll put on a load of deodorant and spray myself up.”

Aside from his scent, there are other characteristics Andrews admires about Maks. She recalls telling producers, “I want somebody that pushes me,” she says. “I’ll try to weasel my way out of things. I’ll be like, ‘Let’s go get a latte!’ And Maks will say ‘No. Do this step. Then we leave for latte.'”

There was, however, something else Andrews hoped to find in her dance partner. “I flat out said to the producers, I want sexual chemistry,” she says. “I want to be put with Maks. I don’t care if he makes me cry, I want somebody that’s hot.”

On the topic of hot chemistry, Seacrest asked Andrews if she’s falling in love with her partner, who recently said of Andrews, “Everybody who meets her falls in love with her.”

“Am I?” she replies. “It’s hard because he’s already fallen in love with himself. I don’t know if there’s room for anyone else.” –Eunice OhCraig Sjodin/ABC
