Cookie don’t play around.

There may be plenty of drama onscreen over at Empire, but the stars say off camera, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Taraji P. Henson took to her Instagram to set the record straight after reports claimed she and leading man Terrence Howard were feuding off camera.

“”HA! Word on THA street is Terrence and I don’t get along! Like I would fight to work with someone I DO NOT get along with?! Don’t be silly,” Henson, 45, captioned a hilarious act of the pair, adding: “#GottaComeBetterThanThat #StupidRumors #DummysWastedPaperAndInkOnthatBS oh and watch #Empire tonight.”

In the clip, Henson and Howard pretend to have an argument during what appeared to be a table read.

“You know what, I’m sick of you. You’re such a diva. Since I got you this job, you think you’re all that … who do you think you are?” Henson said, channeling her inner Cookie Lyon.

Jussie Smollett gets in on the fun, watching his onscreen parents fight before Henson and Howard break character to plug the show in unison.

“I love you Terrence!” she tells her TV hubby before they share a kiss on the lips and hug one another.

Nothing to see here, folks!

Empire airs Wednesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Fox.
