Fa la la la Lyons!

The first family of Fox is bringing its chart-topping musical swag to the holidays in the news special Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays, and PEOPLE has an exclusive First Look!

Hip-hop soap opera Empire really has been the gift that’s kept on giving this year, and now stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are channeling Kanye and Kim Kardashian West for a skit in their upcoming holiday special, to boot.

When the on-screen exes aren’t spoofing pop culture, their TV sons Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray are also taking the stage in the musical and variety extravaganza.

In addition to a duet by Henson, 45, and Howard, 46, award-winning performers Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Jamie Foxx will join them to spread some festive cheer.

In a release for the special, Fox also promises “other surprise guests and performances,” which we’re not-so-secretly hoping involves costar Gabourey Sidibe singing a saucy rendition of “Santa Baby.”

So what song could lend itself to the vocal stylings of Lucious and Cookie, Empire fans? “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” is a far too obvious choice – and was already nailed on the network by Glee‘s Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) back in that show’s very own 2010 Christmas special.

Empire has been known to inject a bit of rock into its hip-hop repertoire, so perhaps they stars will do an updated take on Bing Crosby and David Bowie‘s 1982 mashup “Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy”? Only time will tell …

In the meanwhile, aside from “Grinch Bitch,” what are you hoping to see? Coal in the stockings of all those who don’t at least try to work in an Empire song-inspired pun.

Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
