Veep fans rejoice! The show was crowned outstanding comedy series at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday.

“If Veep is about one thing, it’s about hope,” former show runner Armando Iannucci said while accepting the award. “The hope that anyone in America, no matter what their background, their race, their creed, anyone if you work hard can just miss out on getting the top job – or get it if your boss is mentally incapacitated or killed.”

The big win unseated longtime comedy champ Modern Family, which has won the award for the past five years. Other nominees included Louie, Parks and Recreation, Silicon Valley, Transparent and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The award was presented by the legendary Mel Brooks.

Fox aired the 2015 Emmy Awards, hosted by Andy Samberg, live on Sept. 20.
