Too hot to handle: It was so warm on the red carpet at the 2015 Emmys that Olivia Culpo almost fainted.

During E!’s pre-Emmys coverage in Los Angeles on Sunday, temperatures soared into the high 90s – and it was too much to bear for Miss USA 2012, who collapsed while playing a game with E! hosts Giuliana Rancic, Ross Mathews and Brad Goreski.

From the start of the segment, Culpo, 23, was clearly struggling. She shifted from foot to foot, bracing herself against the podium.

“You guys, it’s so hot,” she said.

“If you pass out, I will catch you,” Mathews assured her, passing her a water bottle.

Culpo insisted she was fine, but as Rancic went to toss the segment to a commercial, she noticed that Culpo was crouching down behind her podium. “Olivia, are you okay?” she asked before the scene cut out.

When they returned after the break, Rancic assured viewers that Culpo was going to recover. “We want everyone to know, Olivia Culpo is fine,” she said.

Culpo was a good sport about it, though, even tweeting a picture of herself being escorted indoors in a wheelchair.

“OMG it is SO HOT out here. Literally just almost passed out,” she wrote.

The 2015 Emmy Awards, hosted by Andy Samberg, air Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
