Emmys 2015: Olive Kitteridge Wins Outstanding Limited Series
The 2015 Emmy Awards aired live on Sept. 20 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles
Olive Kitteridge won the 2015 Emmy Award for outstanding limited series.
“It started as a book. It started as a book,” Frances McDormand said twice while accepting the award.
The HBO series has dominated at the awards show, winning trophies for lead actor, lead actress, directing, writing and supporting roles in a miniseries.
Olive Kitteridge was up against ABC’s American Crime, hit FX series American Horror Story: Freak Show, SundanceTV’s The Honorable Woman and PBS’ Wolf Hall.
Marcia Gay Harden and Lena Headey presented the award at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
