The actress took home the award for outstanding support actress in a comedy series
Love is in the air!
Turns out, the actress, 55, is dating Philip Joncas, who also works in the entertainment industry – and although it’s unclear how long the two have been together, they’ve worked together as early as 2012.
Here are five things to know about the actress’ new love interest:
According to his website, Joncas was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts, which has a population of just over 100,000, according to the 2013 U.S. Census Bureau.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art with a concentration in digital media at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., in 2003.
After graduating from CUA, Joncas spent four years working as a creative web director and production manager for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Joncas then returned to school at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C., followed by the Minneapolis College of Art and Design from 2008-2009, where he completed a post-baccalaureate degree program in film.
According to his Linkedin, Joncas currently resides in Los Angeles, where he works as a production coordinator for IATSE Local 871, a site that features news and history. He also does freelance work in the entertainment industry as a production manager.
According to his IMDB page, Joncas worked as a production coordinator for four months in 2012 for the 2013 film The Way Way Back – a movie which starred Janney.
While Joncas’ Instagram account is private, the creative worker does have a Twitter account and one of his 31 followers is Janney herself.
However, the account doesn’t seem to be active – Joncas has yet to post a tweet – and he doesn’t follow Janney back.
“My interest is in the forms and textures created when combining pigments directly on canvas,” reads the introduction to his painting gallery. “When I paint I m searching for depth, density and hues that grasp the soul. I become so involved that my mind wanders and my unconscious takes over.”
On Sunday, Janney took home the award for outstanding support actress in a comedy series for her role on Mom – marking the seventh Emmy of her career.
Fox aired the 2015 Emmy Awards, hosted by Andy Samberg, live on Sept. 20
