The late-night talk show host is gearing up to the 2016 Emmy Awards, and PEOPLE and Good Morning America have the exclusive first look at the first ads for the ceremony. “Who do you think should host the Emmys this year?” the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host asks a focus group of adorable kids in the first TV ad for the Sept. 18 award show. “Me,” responds one boy. “I think you should be hosting,” a little girl tells Kimmel. “Because you’re famous.” “What about how handsome I am,” responds Kimmel, who is met with a blank stare. Kimmel, 48, previously hosted the Emmys in 2012. The 2016 nominees will be announced Thursday. The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sept. 18 on ABC.
