Hugh Grant is known for his bumbling British charm, but it didn’t work on his ex Elizabeth Hurley.

The model, 49, stopped by Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live to talk about her new series The Royals and share secrets about her old fling.

“I love him, but he’s very annoying,” Hurley told host Andy Cohen.

Hurley said it was this bothersome personality trait that led to the (amicable) end of their 13-year relationship in 2000.

“My friends used to call him Grumpelstiltskin. He is grumpy,” she continued.

The actor, 54, has a different take on why things didn’t work between him and Hurley.

“The sex bit probably fizzled out,” Grant told Cohen in February.

Au contraire! In Hurley’s Plead the Fifth (full video below), she gave her ex 10 out of 10 for his prowess in the bedroom: “I was with him for 13 years!”

Even with Grant’s foul moods and the eventual lust bust, the former couple have remained friends throughout the years, with Hurley naming Grant the godfather of her son in 2002.
