In between practicing two routines with partner Gilles Marini, Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke celebrated the opening of her third Cheryl Burke Dance studio Friday night.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to have my own studios and now I have three – and I hope to open more,” Burke told PEOPLE. “The show has renewed ’s interest in ballroom dance and it’s amazing.”

Burke and Marini joined friends and family at the Laguna Niguel, Calif., studio’s ribbon-cutting ceremony. Burke’s other two studios are located in San Francisco and Mountain View, Calif.

“All levels of dance are taught,” Burke says, stressing that anyone can take classes at her studios.

On Monday night, Burke and Marini, along with three other couples, will compete in a special two-hour Dancing with the Stars performance show on ABC. — Monica Rizzo
