Eight-year-old Charlie has already impressively tackled some of the most iconic dance numbers of all time, but he has always been a solo act – until now. That all changed Thursday when Charlie met Dancing with the Stars contestant Ribeiro and his pro-dancer partner Witney Carson backstage at a taping of The Queen Latifah Show. “Charlie was so excited to meet them,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE. “His mom had shown him The Carlton dance before so he was beside himself when he saw [Alfonso] in real life.” Charlie may have been a fan of the dance made famous by Ribeiro on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but the young dancer and the actor chose to tackle some more traditional ballroom moves backstage. “I can’t believe this is happening to me. I don’t want it to end,” Charlie told PEOPLE through his mother. “And Witney is very pretty!” Ribeiro even had some career advice for the aspiring performer. “You’ve got to learn how to dance, learn how to sing, learn how to act,” Ribeiro can be heard telling Charlie in the video. “Really pursue the acting. That makes a lot of money. Will Smith will tell you. I can’t tell you, but Will Smith will tell you.” Want more stories like this?
