Catfish's Nev Schulman Found Dina Lohan's Alleged Boyfriend — Who Insists He's the 'Real Deal'
Dina Lohan is apparently dating Jesse Nadler, a 53-year-old man from Tiburon, California — though they've never met
Dina Lohan’s secret boyfriend may have just been revealed.
On last week’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Dina, 56, revealed that although she’s been talking to “a special someone” for five years, they’ve never actually met in real life — or even FaceTimed.
And while Lindsay Lohan’s mother seemed confident that her relationship is real, her fellow houseguests thought the star was likely being catfished — and apparently so did Nev Schulman, host of MTV’s Catfish. The man who popularized the phrase referring to people being duped into online relationships immediately offered his services in tracking down the mystery man.
On Wednesday, Schulman revealed identity of a man who claims to be Dina’s boyfriend: Jesse Nadler, who is 53 and from Tiburon, California, according to The Blast.
“UPDATE: found @dinalohan’s boyfriend…but his story is way bigger than I could have ever imagined,” Schulman tweeted.
In a follow-up tweet, Schulman shared a photo of Nadler, writing: “CONFIRMED: Jesse Nadler is Dina Lohan’s boyfriend. Much much more coming soon…”
Nadler himself had been tweeting about his supposed relationship with Dina since last week, insisting that he’s not a catfish.
“I’ll be the judge of that…” Schulman replied.
The Blast spoke to Dina’s ex-husband Michael Lohan, 58, who said he had been contacted by Nadler and that they recently texted “for about an hour” before talking on the phone.
Michael said Nadler sent him screenshots of his communications with Dina as proof. There are also conversations between Nadler and an unverified Dina Lohan account on Facebook.
“Actually, he’s a really nice guy with a good heart and I like him, and if he makes Dina happy, I’m happy for them,” Michael said, adding that the two had even made plans to travel to the beach town of Montauk in New York for lobsters. (Nadler is apparently from Long Island, like the Lohans.)
Sources told The Blast that Nadler has been in contact with CBB producers to make an appearance and surprise Dina on the show. (The finale airs Wednesday night.)
Nadler told Page Six that he’s coming forward because he doesn’t want to be known as a “catfish” after Dina’s housemates expressed their skepticisms about his existence.
“I’m a good guy,” he said. “I’m the real deal. Just the thought of people thinking I could be a catfish when everyone knows me and knows how hard I work and how I respect women and mothers, it just kills me.”
Nadler, who said he works in commercial real estate, told Page Six he has never met Dina in person due to his mother’s failing health, which she also referenced on the show.
The live two-hour season finale of Celebrity Big Brother airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
