Desperate Housewives: 'Something Huge' Each Episode

The writers’ strike may have left TV fans hanging for months without new shows, but Desperate Housewives fans will have plenty to cheer about when the series returns this Sunday (ABC, 9 p.m. ET): The rest of the season is going to be jam-packed with drama. Show creator Marc Cherry tells USA Today that since the season was abridged, he’s had to condense plots, which means “something huge is going to happen in every single episode.”

Check out the USA Today article to see what’s in store for the next seven episodes, but here’s what we’re most excited about:

• Cherry says that Edie’s (Nicollette Sheridan) storyline will end with a real shocker as she crosses “a huge moral boundary” with dire results. • Bree (Marcia Cross) and Katherine (Dana Delany), fighting as they plan the town’s Founder Day Ball. According to Delany: “Let’s just say there’s some poison involved.”
