It’s been two months since the birth of Jill and Derick Dillard‘s son, Israel David, and the proud parents couldn’t be happier.

“We are so blessed to be this little guy’s parents!” Derick wrote in an Instagram post Saturday. “Happy 2 month birthday Israel!

“May you continue to grow both in stature and in favor with the Lord and also with man.”

Wife Jill posted an almost identical message herself Saturday, adding, “May you grow up to love Jesus and serve others!”

It’s first Instagram post for both Jill and Derick since news broke following an unearthed 2006 felony investigation that the 19 Kids and Counting clan’s eldest son, Josh, had allegedly molested five underage girls when he was a minor.

The family broke their silence on the scandal in interviews with Fox News’s Megyn Kelly, which aired Wednesday and Friday.

Josh’s victims included sisters Jill and Jessa (Duggar) Seewald, who sat down with Kelly separately from their parents. Both women spoke about what a strain the scandal has been on their family.

“I called my husband and I was in tears. I couldn’t believe what was going on,” Jill told Kelly about learning that InTouch Weekly would be reporting on the police report, which has since been expunged.

“When I heard the police report had been released, I said, ‘What right do they have to do this? We’re victims. They can’t do this to us.’ ”

At the same time, both Jill and Jessa defended their brother.

“We’ve already forgiven Josh. We’ve already moved on,” Jill said.
