Dean McDermott is done airing out his personal struggles on reality TV.

The True Tori star, 48, went on Today Tuesday to do a cooking demonstration, and he told Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb that he doesn’t “want to do the relationship stuff” on television anymore.

“Sorting out your problems in the town square is not the way to go about it,” he said of his reality show with wife Tori Spelling.

In the True Tori season finale last year, McDermott said that he “sacrificed chunks of [his] soul” for the show, and asked his wife: “If you don’t like my choices, why the f— are you with me? There’s hope for Tori and Dean if we don’t do the f—ing show.”

But McDermott now says he doesn’t regret his two seasons on the Lifetime series.

“It was a great learning experience. It certainly expedited things we needed to work on,” he conceded.

As for how his marriage is going, McDermott told the ladies things with Spelling are “amazing, everything is great with mama. She’s great.”

Moving forward, the actor says he’d “rather do fun stuff with the family,” if he decides to return to reality.

In the meantime, he added, “I got a couple Cooking Channel specials coming out and I’d like to get back to acting, which is my first love.”
