A Deadliest Catch star hit choppy waters when he suffered a health scare aboard his ship.

Captain Sig Hansen was hospitalized after experiencing chest pain while fishing on the F/V Northwestern, the Deadliest Catch Twitter account confirmed Wednesday.

“While he wanted to keep going, the crew insisted that they dock to get help,” the reality show tweeted. “He was airlifted to Anchorage, Alaska, and immediately rushed to a medical facility. He is with his family and in good spirits. Please send him your love and prayers!”

TMZ first reported that Hansen, 49, collapsed on deck while filming the series.

The Deadliest Catch season 12 premieres in March on The Discovery Channel.
