David Letterman is enjoying his retirement.

The former Late Show host was sporting a bushy white beard as he walked around New York Sunday.

The normally clean-shaven star was spotted as he spent some quality time with his 11-year-old son Harry, whom he took out to dinner.

Letterman, 68, retired in May and handed off the CBS show to Stephen Colbert.

“I can’t tell you how flattering, embarrassing and gratifying it has all been,” Letterman said on his final show, thanking fans for the praise he had received since announcing his retirement. “In light of all this praise, merited or not, do me a favor – save a little for my funeral.”

Letterman briefly emerged from retirement in July to roast Donald Trump, and he will appear on the National Geographic docu-series Years of Living Dangerously in 2016 to explore climate change.
