The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has no shortage of drama, but for Yolanda Hadid, there was plenty of tension off camera as well.

The reality star split from her husband of four years, music producer David Foster, last year – and an insider says that throughout the short marriage, there was no love lost between Yolanda and David’s daughters, actresses Sara and Erin Foster.

“Sara and Erin weren’t close with Yolanda,” says the insider. “They didn’t think she was very genuine.”

Sara, 35, and Erin, 33, star in Barely Famous, the hit comedy series that satirizes Hollywood and reality TV (premiering Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on VH1), but the insider says they never watched their former stepmom on Real Housewives.

The sisters spoke out about Yolanda’s battle with Lyme Disease on Jenny McCarthy‘s SiriusXM show Dirty Sexy Funny on Wednesday, insisting, “We have no idea what goes on, and we don’t wish anyone ill will of any kind.”

And for now, Sara and Erin are focused on their successful careers – and on supporting their father. “They obviously love [David],” says the insider. “They want him to be happy.”
