Von Miller is switching up his cleats for some dancing shoes.

The 26-year-old football player is gearing up to compete in season 22 of Dancing with the Stars, but in case you haven’t been following his hilarious antics on Instagram, here are five things to know about Miller before he takes the ballroom by storm Monday.

1. He’s just not any football player – he was named MVP of this year’s Super Bowl.
The Texas native was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2011, and after six seasons with the team he was named Super Bowl 50 Most Valuable Player after he helped lead the Broncos to victory against the Carolina Panthers in February.

As for how his teammates reacted to his latest gig on the competitive dance show?

There were “lots of laughs,” Miller told PEOPLE at the official cast reveal last week. “But that’s just how the locker room is. A lot of personalities in the locker room. They find out one of the linebackers is going on Dancing with the Stars, and it’s just instant.”

2. He raises chickens.
Yup, you read that right. Miller majored in poultry science at Texas A&M and owns a chicken coop with about 3,000 sq. ft. of backyard space for his 40-50 chickens.

And though he told Yahoo! Sports last year that Miller Farms, as he calls it, is “humble beginnings right now,” don’t worry – he has big plans to expanding his chicken farm in the future.

Oh, and he has more than one chicken tattoo.

3. He gives back.
In 2013, Miller started a charity called Von’s Vision to provide low-income Denver children with eye care and corrective eyewear.

“It’s dear to my heart, I’ve been wearing glasses all my life,” Miller said in a video for the charity last year. “You’d be surprised by how many kids don’t even know they have bad eyesight and that could be thing that gets them better grades in class.”

4. He has a closet full of Louboutin sneakers.
Like, he must own every single color.

5. And he’s already BFFs with his dance partner Witney Carson.
It might be too soon to be picking a favorite duo, but Miller and Carson, 22, are definitely strong contenders, courtesy of their Instagram accounts.

Watch dynamic duo #BlondMiller hit the dance floor when season 22 of Dancing with the Stars premieres Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
