He might be 76 – but Tommy Chong has proved he’s definitely still got it.

The comedian gave Dancing with the Stars viewers – and professional partner Peta Murgatroyd – a thrill during their salsa performance Monday night when he tore open his hot pink shirt and offered a peek at his impressive-looking abs.

“When he rips [his shirt] like he’s the Hulk – I love that,” Murgatroyd told PEOPLE with a grin after the show while standing beside Chong.

Together, the pair earned a solid 28 score, with judge Julianne Hough praising Chong for his impressive energy.

“You are proving that age is a state of mind,” she said. “You are as young as you feel.”

Chong, who is best known for starring in a string of stoner movies alongside longtime collaborator Cheech Marin, said one of their old films inspired him to throw open his shirt during the performance.

“I played a dancer in a movie one time – Cheech and I both played male strippers in a strip club,” he explained.

But before you get too excited, Chong clarifies that he remained somewhat decent for the role.

“I had Speedos on,” he explained, while looking at his partner. “It was very funny.”
