"We just don't want to get kicked off first, and then we'll take it week by week," says the Dancing pro

Rehearsals are underway for the upcoming all-star season of Dancing with the Stars, and pro Kym Johnson says she and partner Joey Fatone have one main goal this time around.

Take down the man who beat them last time.

“We were on season 4, and we were second. Apolo [Ohno] beat us, and he’s on this season as well, so we’re going to try and get over him first of all,” she told PEOPLE at the premiere of The Words in Hollywood.

Facing a cast full of former winners and fan favorites, Johnson knows the coveted mirror ball trophy is anyone’s for the taking.

“Everyone is going to be incredible,” says the Australian dancer. “It could be anyone’s [to win] and anyone could go home first. It’s going to be an unpredictable season.”

However, Johnson isn’t letting the fierce competition get to her. For now, she’s just focused on making it to the second night of competition.

“It’s going to be an intense season, but we’re definitely enjoying it,” said the Dancing pro. “We just don’t want to get kicked off first, and then we’ll take it week by week.”
