Jodie Sweetin isn’t letting an injury – or an incredibly daunting dance – keep her down.

Sweetin and pro Keo Motsepe recreated the iconic dance from Pink’s “Try” video on Monday’s Dancing with the Stars, with the video package from the week’s rehearsal revealing just how brutal preparations had been.

“I do push myself. I’ll injure myself. I”ll get hurt. But I do keep going,” Sweetin says in the video – which included footage of her being rushed to the hospital after an injury last week.

But the pain yielded electrifying results.

The dance brought the crowd to its feet, and the judges responded well.

“You guys have had a struggle, so it feels all so real, but I think you transformed something aggressive into something really dynamic and artistic and beautiful,” said Carrie Ann Inaba.

Added Bruno Tonioli: “Even a professional dancer would find it very, very hard to reproduce that number you gave it a wonderful interpretation. You nearly gave me a heart attack.”

The judges awarded her 25 out of 30.

“This is not just a difficult dance. At times, it is more like a gymnastics routine with with gravity-defying lifts and poses that require a lot of physical strength,” Sweetin wrote in her exclusive PEOPLE blog ahead of the show.

The star, 34, added that she felt an extreme pain during rehearsals that had her worried.

“I can handle pain and knew no matter what, my body would heal. What I was really worried about was what it meant for me being able to continue on DWTS,” wrote Sweetin.

Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
