Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin is blogging about her experience onDancing with the Stars‘s 22nd season exclusively for Follow Sweetin and her partner Keo Motsepe on Twitter!

I could not have been happier about getting my best score of the season last week. It’s just proof that Keo and I keep putting in the hard work and it is paying off.

Getting out there and doing the routine with the other girls was also a great moment.

We’d had some really shaky rehearsals, so to go out there and kill it the way we did was really rewarding. On week 1, I don’t think I had the confidence to stand out there and channel Beyoncé the way I did. But now, I have that inner confidence and I’m ready to attack the rest of the season.

For tonight, Keo and I are pulling out all the stops for our jive.

A lot of our dances have been really emotional and intimate, but this week we are dancing with props and some of the troupe. That’s been fun but also makes rehearsals a little more difficult.

There have definitely been times that I’ve messed up my own steps because I’m watching one of the other dances and thinking, “Oh, they look great!” But I know tonight I’ll be focused.

The jive is a really difficult – and exhausting – dance. But I’ve lucked out because it’s one that Keo and I have kind of been working on since day one.

When we first started rehearsing together, Keo choreographed a short jive routine that we do as a warm-up every time we rehearse.

Because of that, the dance feels really comfortable in my body and I hope that means I’m headed for scores that are even better than last week!

We’re also dancing and Argentine tango with Nyle DiMarco and his partner Peta Murgatroyd. When they first told me that’s who I’m paired with, I was really excited. Nyle has been such a natural out on the dance floor, and I think we’re both going to make each other better.

Peta has been doing a fantastic job working with Nyle and being there for him entirely [since he is deaf and can’t hear the music]. And I plan on being there for him in the same way.

As part of our dance, Nyle and I will have to dance a bit without the dance pros. It’s obviously a little nerve-wracking to be out there on our own, but I think people will be really impressed with what Nyle and I do out there tonight.
