The episode saw another contestant hit the road and also had the cast split off for team dances, with Nick Carter serving as captain for Team Nightmare and Bindi Irwin leading Team Who You Gonna Call? Read on to find out which team ruled the dance floor and which star said goodbye. Warning: Spoilers ahead for Monday’s episode of DWTS. Though Alexa PenaVega and Tamar Braxton found themselves in jeopardy, it was Hayes Grier who didn’t make it through the elimination. Hugging pro Emma Slater, he choked up as he thanked the cast for the opportunity. “They are brilliant people. This has meant so much to me,” said Grier. “This has been a life-changing event.” Check out other highlights from Monday’s terrifying show: Team Who You Gonna Call? Falls Short Though they pleased the crowd, team Who You Gonna Call? didn’t do as well as their rivals with the judges. Irwin led Alek Skarlatos, Carlos PenaVega, Alexa PenaVega, and pros Derek Hough, Lindsay Arnold, Mark Ballas and Witney Carson to a spirited dance to the Ghostbusters theme. But the judges felt the dancers were not in sync, and awarded them 28 out of 30. This was the first time Hough had lost a group dance, and let’s just say he was not pleased. “I’m bummed, but Derek took his first loss well,” Skarlatos told PEOPLE backstage. “He’s been really positive about it. We went out there and did our best.” Team Nightmare Scores Perfect 10s Minutes earlier, Carter led stars Braxton, Andy Grammer and Grier and pros Allison Holker, Emma Slater, Sharna Burgess and Val Chmerkovskiy as they the judges, who awarded them perfect scores for their take on “This is Halloween” from A Nightmare Before Christmas. “I have to say, they were on point,” Alexa PenaVega said of her team winning. “That dance was amazing.” Earlier in the episode, Alexa PenaVega performed a little Tim Burton tribute of her own, with her take on Edward Scissorhands. Bindi Irwin Goes Full Vampire Even though Irwin is not known for being scary, she embraced her dark side to become a vampire queen. Her risky move paid off as she earned yet another perfect score from the judges, getting straight 10s. “Never confuse kindness for weakness,” Irwin said. Leah Remini Gets Spooked Guest co-host Leah Remini got an unpleasant surpise when a clown snuck up behind her as she interviewed Braxton. Luckily, she didn’t let out any curse words bad enough to get her or ABC in trouble. What were your favorite moments from DWTS‘ Halloween episode? Did the right person get sent home?
