Though Demi Moore once admitted that her daughter Rumer Willis‘ choice to compete on Dancing with the Stars had her “insides screaming ‘No,’ ” Moore’s eldest daughter with Bruce Willis is now the proud owner of a Mirrorball Trophy.

Following Rumer’s win, Moore Tweeted that she was “filled with love, pride and awe” for her daughter, as well as her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.

The DWTS finale was a family affair – Rumer’s sisters were also in attendance, as was her father.

During the show, Moore, 52, took a moment to snap a selfie with Scout, 23, and Tallulah, 21, to cheer on Rumer and Val in advance of their final dance – looks like the well wishes did the trick!

“One of the most beautiful things I’ve witnessed is watching [Rumer’s] passion become greater than her fear,” said Moore during a taped segment on DWTS as she reflected on Rumer’s time spent in the competition. “It has nothing to do with her being my kid or Bruce’s kid. It has everything to do with just who she is.”

On Good Morning America on Wednesday, Rumer said that her trophy is for “everyone who ever felt like they weren’t good enough or felt like they couldn’t accomplish something – because you can.”

Added Rumer, “And even if you don’t feel like you’re beautiful every day or feel like you look right or you could do something, if you work hard and put your whole heart into it, you totally can.”
