‘s first performance on Dancing with the Stars is sure to be a wild ride.

In photos released Wednesday, the teen conservationist meets and rehearses with her professional partner Derek Hough at the Wildlife Learning Center in Sylmar, California, wearing a sparkly pink ballroom dress – and a snake wrapped around her shoulders.

Um, is the 17-year-old daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin planning a routine to Britney Spears‘ “I’m a Slave 4 U”?

Only time will tell, though Hough, 30, has promised his choreography will honor Bindi’s reptilian roots.

“We are gonna bust out with a kind of on-the-nose song the first week,” he told PEOPLE on Sunday.

Let’s hope Hough isn’t afraid of exotic animals.

Dancing with the Stars
