Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough brought the crowd to its feet thanks to a little Dirty Dancing.

The pair’s tribute to the film brought the house down on Monday’s Dancing with the Stars, and earned them straight 10s – with Hough admitting he’d “never been more nervous” on the show, because of the routine’s famous lift.

The pair recreated the “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” dance made famous by Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in the 1987 classic.

Grey, who played Baby in the film, stopped by to give 17-year-old Bindi some advice.

“You are more of who Baby is than I was. The key is to trust,” Grey told Bindi during the prerecorded package.

That advice paid off, with Bindi earning 10s from all four judges.

“She is such a beautiful human being,” Bindi told PEOPLE backstage of meeting Grey, admitting she was “a little nervous” at first.

“I wanted to do a good job because Baby is a character that everyone wanted to be growing up,” she said. “But it was an amazing experience. She had some great advice for us and we were happy about it.”

Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
