The actor shares a sweet story about why he believes his 26-year-old son is "going to be fine"

Every parent of a child with Asperger’s syndrome worries about what the future holds. But D.L. Hughley recently broke down in tears of joy when he felt particularly hopeful for his 26-year-old son, Kyle.

Speaking on OWN’s Oprah: Where Are They Now?, the actor, 52, reveals that Kyle has graduated from college but still faces many challenges.

“Everything has to be the same,” the former Dancing with the Stars contestant says. “He goes to work at the same time. He eats the same thing.”

But what brought Hughley to tears during the interview was a sweet story he told about how Kyle recently asked if he could pump gas for his father. Hughley says he was a “nervous wreck,” but he was soon weeping with joy knowing his son was “going to be fine.”

Check out the whole story in the above video, in which Hughley also gets personal about his marriage and confesses to his history of infidelity regarding his wife LaDonna.
