We knew James Corden can sing – but did you know he can also bust out some serious moves?

On Monday’s episode of The Late Late Show, the talk show host proved just how jiggy with it he can get during a dance battle with his guest Cuba Gooding Jr.

It all started when guest Jon Bernthal told a story about how he and his longtime friend used to “put on these lip sync concerts” and dance when they were younger. Obviously, viewers needed a demonstration, so the former Walking Dead star obliged.

“That’s right, Channing Tatum or whatever your name is,” shouted Gooding Jr., 48, cheering on Bernthal. “It’s a challenge!”

Step Up 7, man,” Bernthal, 39, added with a laugh.

Of course, then it was time for Corden to show off his own moves, going head-to-head (or should we say, footwork-to-footwork) with Gooding Jr.

Corden, 37, busted out the worm, quickly making it clear he was the winner, and the American Crime Story star bowed down, admitting defeat.

“He wormed on you,” third guest Don Cheadle said, teasing Gooding Jr. “He wormed on you, son!”

The Late Late Show with James Corden airs weeknights (12:37 a.m. ET) on CBS.
