The creator of the Fat Girl Dancing videos on YouTube is about to reach a much larger fanbase.

TLC will air a nine-part series called My Big Fat Fabulous Life, which will follow Whitney Thore, 30, as she learns to embrace her body and love herself again.

Once a slender dancer who weighed less than 120 lbs., Thore was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome and quickly gained more than 200 lbs. Though struggling with self-doubt and societal pressures, she began posting videos online and launched the No Body Shame Campaign to help promote self-love and acceptance.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life will follow Thore, now 380 lbs., around her home in Greensboro, North Carolina, that she shares with her parents.

“I hate people thinking that I’m lazy,” she says in the exclusive sneak peek above.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life will premiere Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
