Entertainment TV Courteney Cox Is 'Not' Impressed That She's About to Eat a Drowned Sheep for Dinner The actress loses her appetite as survivor man Bear Grylls pulls the dead animal from the water By Christina Dugan Ramirez Christina Dugan Ramirez Writer-Reporter, TV People Editorial Guidelines Published on August 22, 2016 08:15 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: NBC Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do to survive – even if it means eating a dead sheep for dinner, right? In an upcoming episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls, the survivor man is joined by Courtney Cox on an adventure to the muggy moors of Ireland. To her surprise (well, not really, because Grylls’ ideas are literally always out of control), he brings up the idea of eating a sheep (who has drowned, btw) for dinner. “There is no reason,” Cox, 52, said while knee-deep in the bog, dragging the dead animal to shore. “We’re not helping anybody by taking this sheep out.” In true Bear Grylls fashion, he responds with, “We’re helping ourselves. This is going to be dinner.” Our stomachs just turned too. Just by Cox’s reaction, it’s like we can smell the rottenness from here. “Wow that is disgusting,” the former Friends star says. “Oh my God, I just don’t understand what’s happening.” Us too, Court, us too. “He’s one strange bird, I tell you,” she says. Running Wild with Bear Grylls airs Mondays at 10 p.m. PT on NBC.
