Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid are stronger than ever.

Appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday, the actress opened up about her relationship with the Snow Patrol musician. (The two started dating in January 2014 and were engaged six months later, before calling it off in late 2015. By March 2016, they had reconciled.)

“He’s not my fiancé. We were engaged to be married, but now we’re just together,” said Cox, 54. “We broke off our engagement, and he moved to England, then we got back together, and it’s actually better than it was before.”

“Everything’s better,” she continued. “Not because he’s in London — although I think the distance after that breakup, we were apart for six months, that really showed us a lot. It’s just better.”

But their love comes at a cost.

“I mean, it’s expensive,” Cox admitted. “That’s an expensive relationship! We got back and forth a lot.”

And when Cox, who hosts a new Facebook Watch documentary series, 9 Months with Courteney Cox, revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that she plans on joining Instagram, the host had the perfect surprise up her sleeve.

“I’m going to help you, because I have 65 millions followers,” DeGeneres said. “I know how to do this. So we’re going to do something that’s going to be creative. I got a set over here for us.”

DeGeneres, 61, unveiled a recreation of the set of Friends‘ coffee shop, Central Perk, and began coaching Cox on how to pose.

“I wish Lisa Kudrow was here, because that would be fun,” DeGeneres said. And ‘lo and behold, out walked the actress, much to Cox’s surprise.

“This is my first Instagram post?!” said Cox, posing with DeGeneres and her former costar on the iconic burnt orange couch. “It’s downhill after this.”
