Amid the spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, many news anchors are having to adapt and work from home
After testing positive for the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, the CNN anchor has been broadcasting his show, Cuomo Prime Time, from his basement. The anchor made an in-home studio there while quarantined from his family.
The CNN anchor, though emotional about his friend and co-worker Chris Cuomo's diagnosis, is continuing to work from the CNN studio.
Roker hasn't been in the studio since March 13. He and Craig Melvin, who both co-anchor the 3rd Hour of Today, voluntarily quarantined at home out of an abundance of caution after a staffer on their show was diagnosed with coronavirus.
That hasn't stopped him from delivering his daily weather forecast from home, though!
Craig Melvin returned to NBC's Studio 1A on March 25 to host the 3rd Hour of Today for the first time in nearly two weeks.
Roker's co-anchor had been voluntarily self-quarantining at home out of an abundance of caution after a staffer on the 3rd Hour of Today was diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19).
"Good to be back in the studio," Melvin wrote on Instagram.
On the show, Melvin admitted, "[It's] surreal. Everything about it is surreal. The drive in, just about every other part of this country right now, streets are empty, sidewalks are empty. You know this studio is usually teeming with people. It is me and [two other people]. That's it. I've never seen anything like it."
Guthrie had been working from the basement of her home since just before Today's March 18 broadcast, a decision she made after coming down with a mild sore throat and runny nose.

Roberts was a few underlying conditions that could make it easier for her to catch the virus: she was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 and in 2012, was diagnosed with a blood disease called myelodysplastic syndrome.
She set up a studio in her home, telling viewers, "In New York City, there's an escalation right here, and because of my underlying health conditions, my doctors thought it best that I work from home."
Good Morning America's chief meteorologist, Ginger Zee, is also playing it safe and delivering the forecast from her home. She announced on March 23 that she'd be working from home as two staffers from her son's school tested positive for COVID-19.
The Anderson Cooper 360 anchor took extreme precaution when someone on his team believed themselves to be positive for the virus and worked from home beginning March 20.

The host of Fox News' Justice with Judge Jeanine is working from home. She had to release a statement after her first at-home broadcast that she was not drunk, as several social media users questioned her appearance and demeanor.
