Conan O'Brien Takes Fury Road to Comic-Con in Hilarious Mad Max Spoof
The TBS host shreds on flamethrowing guitar as he and Andy Richter head to San Diego, where they're taping this week
Wearing a red onesie and shredding on a flamethrowing guitar isn’t a great look for everyone, but Conan O’Brien pulled it off in style on his way from Los Angeles to San Diego this week.
The TBS host brought his eponymous late-night show to Comic-Con on Wednesday, and celebrated with an amusing Mad Max: Fury Road spoof, in which Conan played the part of Coma the Doof Warrior – the guitar-playing madman in Immortan Joe’s entourage from the movie.
Andy Richter did the driving (taking advantage of Conan’s occasional bursts of fire to grill up some hot dogs), while Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band rocked out in the back of the trailer.
TBS’s Conan is broadcasting from Comic-Con through Saturday night.
