Get ready for some big laughs!

Conan O’Brien will host the 2014 MTV Movie Awards for the first time, he announced on his show, Conan, Tuesday night.

The funny man, 50, joins other comedians, including Rebel Wilson, Russell Brand and Jason Sudeikis, who have helmed the show in years past.

And though nominees won’t be revealed until Thursday, the late night talk show host is sure to be in good company at the reliably amusing event, which drew A-listers Zac Efron, Kerry Washington and Brad Pitt (to name a few!) last year.

The awards show will be airing live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 13, at 9 p.m. EST.
