Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart Show Rare PDA on the Red Carpet — See the Sweet Photos
The Riverdale costars — who are notoriously private about their relationship — stepped out for a glam date night
Reinhart, 22, stepped out to support her man at the premiere of Sprouse’s new movie, Five Feet Apart, in Los Angeles on Thursday. The couple couldn’t stop smiling at each other on the red carpet, and even shared a sweet cheek kiss.
The actress wore a pale blue-gray lace dress, while Sprouse, 26, opted for a striped shirt under his dark suit.
The couple, who is known for being tight-lipped about their relationship, has been more open in recent weeks.
On Valentine’s Day, the actress gave Sprouse a sweet shout-out on Instagram.
Sharing a sunset selfie of the two smiling at each other, Reinhart captioned the post: “You make me very happy. Happy Valentine’s Day, my love.”
Sprouse dedicated his own Valentine’s Day post to Reinhart, revealing a new photo he recently took of her.
“Quite actually the only thing keeping me sane is @lilireinhart,” he wrote.
The actress recently explained in a cover interview for Teen Vogue‘s October issue why she likes to keep the romance private, saying it’s because “it’s just between two people, and that’s the way it should be.”
“It’s not like I’m trying to dangle my relationship in front of people’s faces like, ‘You don’t know anything about us,’ ” she said. “It’s just, you don’t need to know. People feel like they’re owed that, and you’re absolutely not owed anything by me.”
Sprouse also keeps the romance close to his chest.
“It’s not something that we hide, or it’s not something that we show off,” he told GQ in an interview published in February. “It’s just something that exists.”

At the Five Feet Apart red carpet on Thursday, Sprouse told PEOPLE that Perry was “loved.”
Asked what memories of Perry he’ll hold onto forever, he said, “There’s a thousand things. All of us are — I don’t think there was a single bad thing I’ve ever heard said about that guy, truly. He is so loved.”
“We were all so close to him and we all cared for him so much. He had this way of speaking that was so hyper-passionate, and he would speak, right around here to your face,” added Sprouse, placing his hand a few inches from his eyes. “He would get very close and it immediately removed all of your walls, it was this beautiful way that he had of speaking, and he would latch onto topics so passionately. We are all still very much in the grieving process, but he seems more like the kind of guy that would want us all celebrating his funny stories rather than sitting around lamenting, and I have tremendous respect for his family who’s asked for a lot of privacy in this period. So yeah, nothing but respect.”
On Monday, Reinhart posted a tweet, writing, “I’m finding it hard to grasp that he will no longer be around to give long hugs and share his wisdom and kindness with all of us. I’m thinking of his family. His children. I pray for them to heal and find peace in this devastating loss.”
The actress also shared a poem on her Instagram story on Monday.
“When someone you love, gets taken from you. And the small circumferences surrounding you is stuck. Frozen in a moment. Of loss. And shock. Yet the people passing you are moving at full speed,” she wrote. “Did they not feel the earth shake? Or slow? Can they hear the thoughts screaming in my head? His name. His face. Memories. Flashes. Of a friend. A lost friend.”
Five Feet Apart hits theaters on March 15.
