Double Trouble in 'Riverdale' : Cole Sprouse and Twin Dylan Hang with His Costar KJ Apa

"I love u man," Riverdale star KJ Apa wrote alongside a photo of his castmate Cole Sprouse on Instagram

Another Riverdale relationship has moved off-screen — but this one’s a total bromance.

Cole Sprouse spent part of his Thanksgiving weekend hanging out with castmate KJ Apa, as well as his twin brother Dylan Sprouse.

The 25-year-old and Apa, 20, play friends Archie and Jughead, respectively, on the hit CW series.

In a photo posted to Instagram, the twins sat with pal Joseph Brock. Cole gave the photographer the middle finger, with Dylan writing, “Rapscallions.”

Apa also shared a photo of Cole in the same outfit, this time on the subway, to his own Instagram. He wrote to his pal, “I love u man.”

In PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive issue, Cole said he looks to Apa for inspiration at the gym.

“It’s good being on a show with people like KJ who are monsters,” Cole revealed. “He’s ripped, he’s been ripped since he was like 10, so it’s nice going to the gym with dudes like that because I just mimic what they are doing and by proxy I get an exercise I never thought I would be able to get, which is one of the perks of being on a teen drama!”

The actor has also been linked to his costar Lili Reinhart, who plays his romantic interest Betty on the show.

When asked by PEOPLE if the pair are, in fact, more than friends in real life, Cole said, “no comment.”

“Because whether you dismiss those rumors or whether you encourage those rumors, it’s giving people who are in my opinion are a bit entitled to your personal life more power, and you have to have spaces for reverence in the industry,” Cole explained.

He added, “I just never talk about it because it’s not anyone’s right to know. People can speculate all they want, people speculate about me with every member of the cast practically, but it’s really no one’s right to know. It’s also sexy, these parts of the relationships that are just yours.”
