Dancing with Tea Stars?

Delaware Tea Party politician Christine O’Donnell says she’s officially been invited to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars – but she hasn’t yet made a decision about being a contestant on ABC’s ballroom competition.

“I just got the Official ‘Ask’ from Dancing With The Stars !!,” O’Donnell announced on her Facebook page Monday. “Although I am utterly flattered, my initial thought was to decline, as 2 year old nephew has more rhythm than me, and my two left feet!! What do you think?”

Hundreds of her Facebook fans quickly responded with their opinions on the idea, running the gamut from “go for it, it would be interesting and i am sure fun for you” to “Not if you wanna be taken seriously.”

O’Donnell, a republican who lost the Delaware senate race after it was revealed she’d admitted to dabbling in witchcraft years ago and later appeared in a political add stating, “I am not a witch,” responded to her fans, also on Monday.

“The facebook comments about Dancing w The Stars list great pros and cons,” she wrote. “Thank you for your input. Still undecided.”

A rep for Dancing with the Stars wasn’t immediately available for comment. The cast of season 12 will be announced Monday during The Bachelor (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.

In a gallery of celebrities we’d love to see on the show, O’Donnell is pitted against newsmakers Steven Slater and adult film star Christina Walsh.
