It’s the most dramatic move ever for Chris Harrison!

The host of ABC’s The Bachelor franchise will take over as the new host of the nationally syndicated game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. He will replace Terry Crews, who can’t continue with the gig due to his “successful and demanding film and primetime TV projects.”

Harrison will join the game show at the beginning of its 14th season in the fall.

“There are few shows on television as strong and iconic as Millionaire,” said Harrison, 43. “This is a great fit, and I’m extremely excited and honored to take on this new endeavor.”

Harrison will continue hosting The Bachelor, as well as The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire airs across the country weekdays in national syndication.
