We can barely pronounce the ingredients, let alone prepare the dishes, but it’s not a problem for the child prodigies on Man vs. Child: Chef Showdown.

On the culinary competition show airing Thursdays on FYI Network, a team of five child chefs – Cloyce, 13, Holden, 14, Emmalee, 12, Dylan, 11 and Estie, 7 – faces off against an executive chef.

In the first two rounds, a panel of judges – including Mike Isabella and Alia Zaine – try the dishes to narrow down the competition.

The third and final round is a blind taste test and determines the winner.

“I’m so experienced, I’m kind of like on autopilot,” one of the child chefs says in an exclusive clip shared with PEOPLE. Adds another: “We are not playing around.”

Man vs. Child: Chef Showdown debuts Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on FYI.
