Chelsea Handler isn’t afraid to let fans see her under the influence.

“I want to show people what happens when you get f—ed-up,” Handler says in a new trailer for her new Netflix documentary series Chelsea Does.

In a clip from the four-part series – which, in addition to drugs, will delve into the topics of technology, marriage and racism – Handler is seen chatting up Willie Nelson about marijuana and throwing up after ingesting ayahuasca, a brew developed by indigenous Peruvians as a traditional spiritual medicine used in ceremonies.

“I picked four subject matters that were interesting to me and would also put me in a fish-out-of-water situation,” Handler tells PEOPLE of Chelsea Does. “I mean, drugs are just fun to do!”

Chelsea Does premieres on Netflix on Jan 23.
